Thermo Plug

The Thermo Plug is a small board with room for one of three types of temperature sensors, and either a buzzer or a transistor driver for a relay, small motor, or light.

The different temperature sensor options support various temperature ranges and accuracies:

  • an NTC resistor (use a glass type for higher temps)
  • a DS18B20 1-wire temperature sensor (up to 125°C)
  • a K-type thermocouple with an on-board AD597 chip

The Pre-assembled w/ sensor version comes with the AD597 chip already soldered on, as well as an on-board buzzer and all further parts needed. Includes K-type thermocouple with 1-meter leads which can be used up to 350 °C and a screw terminal.

The PCB only variant contains just the board for the Thermo Plug. No parts, no headers.

As connectors you can use a Plug Headers set with 10 male and 10 female 6-pin headers, which makes it easy to connect multiple plugs and JeeNodes in a “standard” way. Or you can solder the board directly in place for more permanent use.
