On the day of your experience, make sure you arrive no sooner than 10 minutes before your allocated slot time. You’ll kick things off with an introduction and pre-flight briefing, before taking your seat in the full-size Spitfire simulator cockpit. Choose between a 200-degree external projector screen or use the state-of-the-art Virtual Reality 3D headset, and get ready to immerse yourself in the life of a WWII pilot as your instructor guides you through engine start up, take-off, general handling and landing. It’ll be up to you how your experience works, whether you fancy flying over the white cliffs of Dover and enjoying the sights, or shooting down the enemies in an enthralling battle! Participant guidelinesMinimum age: 8Children under 16 years MUST be supervised by a non-flying adult who is responsible for their behaviourParticipants require a small degree of physical mobility to access the cockpits and/or confined spaceThe Flight Sim Centre is easily accessed by disabled peopleAll participants are permitted to bring guests to share their flight experience. Excluded dates may apply. We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. All bookings are subject to availability. Please allow 30 minutes for the full experience. What should I wear? Please dress comfortably. What about insurance? The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence. A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. How it worksAll you have to do is pay for the experience you wish to purchase and we’ll send a voucher and booking information to you or directly to the recipient, then you just need to check the info and book your experience.
