Celestron PowerSeeker 114EQ Newtonian The Celestron Powerseeker 114EQ is a dual purpose Newtonian Reflector telescope capable of observing both the night sky and land based objects during the day. This telescope will give amazing views of the surface of the moon, and in the right conditions even the rings of Saturn can be observed. Setup is quick and easy, with no tools required. The Equatorial mount offers advanced control over the telescope, and makes manual tracking of objects as they move in the night sky easier. The included tripod requires minimal assembly and has lightweight aluminium legs, with an integrated accessory tray for storing different eyepeices during observations. Two eyepieces are included that provide magnifications of 45x and 225x, and a 3x Barlow will triple the power of these eyepeices for a maximum theoretical 675x. The included 5x24 finderscope helps to align the telescope to objects in the night sky. The optimal magnification for this telescope is 269x.
