The beautiful Pressure Treated Tongue & Groove 8x6 Apex Shed from Forest is a premium quality building with great specifications. This 8x6 shed offers plenty of space for storing away gardening tools and equipment as well as having room to use as a workshop with a workbench and shelving. This 8x6 shed is constructed using premium, smooth-planed interlocking Tongue & Groove boards supported by strong 45x25mm framing. The double “Z” braced door can be positioned on either end of the shed relative to the window side and it is hung with robust hinges and secured with a rim lock and key. We are sorry but Forest Garden do not deliver or offer an assembly service to the following Postal Codes: BT1-BT99, GY1-GY9, HS1-HS9, IM1-IM9, IV41-IV56, JE1-JE5, KA27-KA28, KW15-KW17, PO30-PO41, PO49, TR21-TR25. Installation Process We also offer an installation service on selected products. So, if you’d rather take a back seat when it comes to building, don’t worry. Our assembly service means your new purchase is in safe hands and you can leave all the hard work and heavy lifting to us. After you have booked in your delivery, you will be contacted separately to arrange a suitable installation date. This will usually be carried out by our own expert fitting team. However, depending on your location or purchase, we may use a third-party company. Some products, such as the Vale Greenhouses, Gazebos and Retreat Sheds, offer installation on the same day as delivery. For most products, however, delivery and installation will be arranged separately. Installation is typically within 7-10 days of delivery, however at certain times of the season and depending on postcode this can increase to 3-4 weeks, please check with your retailer when ordering. Upon delivery of your product, it is important to check all parts and sections to ensure everything is present. If there are any shortages or damaged parts, please contact us and we will ensure the required parts are supplied before the installation team arrive. If a job is aborted because the item has not been checked there will be a further charge to rebook. Ideally, store the product as close to the assembly location as possible with the sections laid flat and cover the roof and floor sheets where practical. We do offer the service of installing in your absence as long as you have side access. We do need written consent and clear instructions on the position of the shed. On the day of Installation please ensure: - There is a suitable solid level base prepared before the installers arrive on the day. If you require advice on building a base, please see our base preparation letter for guidance. Should the job be aborted due to an unsuitable base, there is likely to be a revisit charge. - The area for the build is unobstructed. The installation team require at least 18 inches around the whole building. Therefore, please ensure there are no obstacles that may hinder the installation such as other garden buildings, fish ponds or structures. Please make sure all vegetation is cut back prior to the installers arriving to allow for a successful build. Also, please make sure the garden is free of any trip hazards such as children’s toys, tools, etc. We also ask that any pet waste has been cleared from the garden. - You have requested permission from your neighbours for our assembly team’s access if required. - There is suitable access to the installation site without having to enter your property. We are not insured to carry items through your property. If you do not have suitable access then you will have to arrange for the items to be moved to the site of installation prior to the fitters arriving. - There are adequate parking facilities for the assembly team’s vehicle and any necessary parking permits have been secured. - There is access to power at the site (our installation teams carry extension cables). - There is someone at the property for the entire time of the installation. This is particularly important so the installers can check you are happy with the siting of the product prior to the commencement of installation, and for the installers to familiarise you with your new building after the build is complete.
