The power supply is installed in the top behind the front section, with an internal extension cable leading to the slot at the back for the plug. The connections for the cables protrude to the left and are cleverly concealed via a metal cover on the tempered glass panel. Lian Li has split up the cable management options as well, with space located beneath a removable aluminium cover as well as the space that has been reserved behind the back wall of the motherboard tray. The motherboard tray supports Mini-ITX- or Mini-DTX format motherboards. A total of three PCI slot brackets enable the installation of high-end graphics cards with a length of up to 32 cm. The horizontal airflow concept with the front and rear 120 mm fan slots helps to cool all installed hardware components sufficiently. Dense-mesh air inlets are integrated into the case’s front cover, which made of brushed aluminium, and a removable dust filter is fitted in front of the fan slot. Additionally, two more fans can be attached to the underside, which can help to guide excess heat from the graphics card to the outside. Despite the extremely compact design, CPU coolers with a maximum height of 165 millimetres can be accommodated in the Lian Li PC-TU150. Those set on water cooling can attach a 120 mm radiator instead of a fan if preferred. Two 2.5-inch drives can be installed in the Lian Li PC-TU150 between the motherboard and the front as well as in the roof above the mainboard. A 3.5-inch drive can alternatively be installed if needed, and the requisite rubber dampeners are included in the case. The I/O panel at the front of the top has the obligatory audio connectors and power/reset buttons, a USB 3.1 type C and two 3.0 type A ports.
